A few weekends ago i had the privileged of looking after my nephew Issac; an energetic little boy who loves nothing more than being on the move, exploring the world and chatting to everyone and anyone.


We didn't want him to be locked up inside all day raising hell in our home so we decided to take the little devil out for the day. One of the best things about Yorkshire is that there is always somewhere new to go and something new to see so as always we were spoiled for choice.

We headed over to the highly recommended Creep Crawlies: The Web Adventure Park located just off the roundabout at Clifton Moore in York.
 

Prices & Opening Times
I firstly have to say the price is fantastic, i really do think you get real value for money for an experience your kids will inevitably love. You can expect to stay for at least four hours inside and out so it is best to pack for both. It can be cold and wet in Yorkshire so make sure you have wellies, coats and a spare change of clothes for both yourself and the kids. Overall access is fantastic inside and out, both pushchairs and wheelchairs have easy access in and out as well as around the different zones inside.

Indoor Play Centre
Inside Creepy Crawlies you will find one of the biggest four lane Astra slides in the country. There are separate Play Zones incorporating baby and toddler areas, sports arena, disco area, giant inflatable obstacle course, ball canons and a huge play frame for over five. Little-ones can enjoy a variety of role-play and dressing up, construction, musical instruments, craft, puppets and messy play offered week days in term time. Lots of seating and an award winning café! You don't have to worry about parking, its free and there is loads of spaces.

Adventure Park
The outdoor zone is an acre of secure outdoor park which includes a huge sand & water play area, netted climbing forest, ride-on’s for little ones, a den building construction zone, landscaped gardens, jungle bridge, wacky swings, and role play area and electric, quad bikes and go carts racetrack.

The Animal Zone
The animal farm had lots of cute animals. Chipmunks, alpacas, donkey, ponies, goats, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits and giant rabbits. Here children of all ages can get to know more about the animals, have the opportunity to watch them play and see feeding time. Petting parties are available. The entry to the animal zone is included within Creepy Crawlies entry fee, and accessed through the adventure park. .


The Hair and Beauty
For those who don't have the time to get there hair cut or nail done there is a fantastic hair salon situated near the High Ropes café.

The Cafe
I know i briefly touched on the cafe but i was really happy with the quality of the food and at the prices. We did have a 40 minute wait but the food was well worth it and it came out piping hot. Not only did we have fab food we have some awesome ice cream! I took a snapshot of the menu:

All in all we had loads of fun and as stated previously it is worth every penny. Both adults and children are guaranteed to have fun so next time your in Yorkshire pop on down!
