My fav photo of the day 🤣
Live Tank Demonstrations

One of the day's highlights was witnessing a live tank demonstration. Seeing a tank in action, maneuvering with surprising agility, was an exhilarating experience for both the kids and adults. It's a rare opportunity to see history come to life in such a dynamic way.
Warships & Submarines Exhibit

This section of Eden Camp highlights the crucial role of naval forces during the World Wars. With detailed models of battleships, submarines, and aircraft carriers, it showcases how these mighty vessels shaped history.
One of the most eye-opening parts is the submarine display, which gives a glimpse into the cramped and challenging conditions sailors endured beneath the waves. My boys were fascinated by how little space there was inside! The exhibit also covers key naval battles, including the Battle of the Atlantic, bringing to life the dangers faced at sea. It’s a brilliant addition to the museum, especially for anyone interested in maritime history.

Play Park
The outdoor play area is a haven for children, featuring climbing frames, slides, and wartime-themed equipment. It's an excellent spot for kids to expend energy while parents take a well-deserved break.
Interactive Mini-Games

Scattered throughout the museum grounds are engaging mini-games such as marbles, corn hole, and can toss. These activities provide delightful interludes between exhibits, allowing families to engage in some friendly competition and hands-on fun.
Food Options at Eden Camp

Exploring the extensive exhibits can build up an appetite, and Eden Camp offers several dining options:

Wartime Canteen: Serving traditional fare reminiscent of the 1940s, including dishes like spam fritters and meat pies. It's a culinary journey back in time.
Snacks & Ice Cream: For lighter options, kiosks offer sandwiches, cakes, and a variety of ice creams, perfect for a quick refreshment.

Picnic Areas: Ample outdoor seating with picnic benches allows families to enjoy their own packed lunches amidst the historical ambiance.

We opted for the cafe to keep warm and got 4 bowls of chips and 4 drinks for around £22.
