The 3-in-1 Batcave Playset has 2 sides and 3 levels, but the sections can be split apart and used separately to extend play or stack them together into one epic playset.

The build

I have to confess that the build took us longer than it should have, due to the fact that I had a stubborn six-year-old determined to build every part and stick-on every sticker. I reckon it should take you around five minutes to build, as the instructions are easy to follow and the structure is strong and quality

Our Verdict

Whilst i can tell you how good value the Batcave is it is and how good the features are, the real proof of how good the playset is in the opinions of the six and five-year-old.

The five-year-old loves the light for the Bat-Signal and the fact you can play with both sides. He didn't like the cardboard pictures on the side as they fell off too easily. The six-year-old found the zip wire and the tippable trashcan the most fun, but he didn't like the plastic ladders are they were not hard enough and don't secure enough for the characters to jump on.

In conclusion, we think it is a great gift for Christmas or a Birthday, as it is mobile and other characters from other sets can be combined to create a battleground of Gotham's best heroes and worst villains.
