The insurance and warranties of cars that come out of the garage may be a little more trustworthy but it may not necessarily benefit you depending on the need of the car and if you’re bothered about driving a sparkly new motor. Having a car doesn’t have to break the bank, there are ways you can certainly buy second hand and give your car a makeover that will bring your car up in value and make it look and feel like a more sophisticated piece of kit.

How To Spruce It Up

Most cars will look ten times better with a lick of paint. Just like a home, our cars will look clean, stylish and more modern with a great layer of paint. Here are some ways to upgrade your motor:

  1. Paint and body work - You have the privilege of choosing a colour best suited to your style. Choose what type of paint will work best for the motor, and if you want to look at any protective types of paint that will stop scratches and dirt becoming embedded.
  2. New entertainment systems -It’s easy to install a new sound system into your car. Upgrade your speakers to have only the best crisp sound and a radio and music system that plays multiple CDs, can connect to USBs and will sound super dope.
  3. Change the seats - Seats will make a car look and feel different. If you want a sporty feel, then leather seats can look incredible and they can also add a plush, luxurious feel. Fabric will create a warmer more soft feeling that could be a nice upgrade if you have a family or if your car is going to be used more often. Leather has to be taken care of very well, so beware of the materials you choose.

Look at the type of insurance you will need for your car and any service plans it may require. When is it due for its MOT and . depending on the manufacturer you can find exceptional service plans, such as Vauxhall Service Plans that allow you to spread out any costs and give you some added extras to help your car look and drive better.

Upgrading your car can be quite a fun challenge so if you like DIY and have some spare time then creating a new car could be a really fun task. If you have friends willing to help, it can be a great project to undertake and you can create a custom car that is not even available to buy in any showroom. It brings the value of your car up and increases its value which can only be a beneficial thing!
