MADAGASCAR PLAY! AT CHESTER ZOO

A couple of weeks ago we took the little monsters and their niece for day out at Chester Zoo. We had been invited along for the opening of their brand new outdoor play zone, Madagascar Play! Naturally we were all very excited as it had been a while since we had taken the boys back to Chester Zoo.

The Madagascan Play Zone was created to give little explorers the chance to discover, learn and play. It was designed by experts for maximum giggles, laughter, fun and adventure! It is located right next to the lions so you are more than likely to stumble across the zone on your way around the park.

I took a short video to show you around the zone, give it a quick watch and continue to read on to find out more information about each zone and activity:

Water-Play

One of the best features of the play zone was the river, with water pumps, gates, values, plugs and much more children of all ages could get stuck-in, learn and get wet by playing with/in the water. Naturally all the children were drawn to the water, so i would recommend you bring a change of clothes with you and make sure they take off their shoes and socks before going in to the water.

Adventure Park

In the middle of the zone we found an epic slide and rope challenges to test any young explorer. The ground is covered in rubber chippings so if your little ones were to fall they shouldn't hurt themselves too badly. We spent a good twenty minutes in this section!

Amenities

You will find a shop, restaurant, ice cream stall, BBQ station, picnic benches and toilets in the area. It basically offers everything you could need should you be pitching up for a couple of hours - including very good baby changing facilities for both mum and dad.

Education

They had park Rangers on hand throughout the zone to show us how to make noises from the rain forest, how to catch and identify bugs and dress-up like some of of our favorite animals.

Sand

It wouldn't be a epic play zone without a huge sandpit right? Well they have built a good size pit with a boat they can jump in and out of, as well as wooden wall with interaction sections to keep them entertained.

We honestly though the Madagascar play zone made a great edition to the park. It offers that little bit more for young children to play and interact with on their visit. I highly recommend stopping-by next time you are visiting Chester Zoo.

After we visited the play zone, the kids went on to explore the rest of the park with their lemur tails. Thanks for reading, should you have any questions or comments drop me a message below!

Thank you very much for sharing the play and I hope that this will help children to become smarter and help them to learn more better things.
