So on the run up to Mother's Day you might be looking for some inspiration for the perfect gift and you are wanting to know, is the Mother's Day Cake from Bettys any good?
Bettys the world famous Café Tea Rooms and Craft Bakery in Yorkshire have a wide range of perfectly baked treats available on their site, ready for delivery: https://www.bettys.co.uk/mothers-day/
I got the chance to treat my partner for her 2nd Mother's Day to one of these cakes. We had the Mother's Day cake that serves 2-6 people delivered to our door.
The Mother's Day cake itself is a light almond sponge cake, sandwiched with raspberry preserve and buttercream, and exquisitely hand-decorated with Royal icing spring daisies and a 'Happy Mother's Day' inscription. The hand decoration was well done as you can see and the cake arrived in once piece.
We couldn't wait for Mother's Day, so we tucked in and i can honestly say that the cake is on of the best cakes i have ever tasted. I am not a huge fan of sponge so when i say that it is a rather nice cake you got to believe me.
So if your mouth is getting moist by the sight of the cake then you should head over to Bettys.co.uk.
