For those of you that are not aware of Junctions32's offering, it is a pedestrianised discount shopping outlet with high street fashion, homeware and lifestyle stores. With 90 famous name stores offering up to 60% off the outlet is located just off the M62 in Castleford.
With the days becoming darker and colder it really is the beginning of the end for the summer. So armed with a £100 gifted gift card i had the entire afternoon (with the help of the family) to explore Junction32's AW offerings and piece together an outfit suitable for the colder weather.
You might be surprised to see such a diverse range of stores in one location. Here are few of my favourite stores on the site that i didn't buy from.
I got my hands on a pair of slim, navy blue Denim Jeans for a smashing £28. The jeans have a simple style but were purchased for that reason, as i wanted a pair of jeans that i can be easily worn and adapted into multiple styles. Jeans from Next are high in quality, well-made and easy to wear; they don't take much breaking in.
Upon visiting the store i noticed that they had on a Menswear sale in which they were offering an amazing 50% off selected items. In the sale they did have a large number of shirts, jumpers and coats in a variety of styles and sizes. It was the perfect occasion to buy a winter jacket and should i not have had a nice expensive one at home already i probably would have.
To go with the jeans i purchased from Next i wanted to buy a nice smart-casual shirt that i could work into various different styles throughout AW.I settled on a tailored fit light grey casual shirt, whilst it is tailored it doesn't stick to you like glue, it has a smooth touch and fits well. I often find it hard to find tops that fit me as i can sometimes be between Small and Medium depending on the store.
The shirt should have been £74.95 but in the sale was only £37. Which i think is a great saving for a luxury clothing brand.
It is not often i walk into any store and want to instantly buy six or seven things i see. Their displays and ranges just appeal to me and as you can see from the images below they really have hit the nail on the head when it comes to offering stylish clothes and great prices
I would say £15 was an absolute steal for a nice pair of Twisted soul soft-kicks and a nice par of three buttoned casual t-shirts for £12.
I visited during a 30% off sale so i picked up a long sleeved grey jumper for just £10!
So in total i spent £97 and for that i managed to create an entire new outfit for AW'15. So what did it all look like chucked together then...
All-in-all i was impressed with my choices, not only because the outfit i put together was an absolute steal but because many of the items i purchased can be easily incorporated into other styles without much effort at all.
So if you fancy updating your wardrobe with or without a budget then Junction32 should be a destination you seriously consider visiting. Visit their social media accounts to keep up to date with the latest news, sales and competitions...
