Moonpig Dads’ Institute: Pixel Bricks Pac-Man

The go-to place for Father's Day cards and quirky gifts has to be Moonpig.com. This year i have been fortunate enough to be asked to join the Moonpig's Dads' Institute. Which means i have the privilege of testing out some of the best Father's Days gifts and cards... how awesome!

As many of you know already i have been a huge fan of Lego since i was a young boy and now that i am an adult i don't get much of a chance to indulge in my favourite past-time activity.

Ted is not yet old to enough to go beyond playing with Megabloks. So when i got the chance to get my hand on a Pixel Bricks Pac-Man i jumped on the opportunity.

Pack-Man is on sale for £8 and it can be found in the Retro Days section of the "gifts for him" section.

If like me your dad loves lego or building random things then this would be the perfect present.

It was genuinely surprised at how many pieces it took to build-up Pac-Man. I was also surprised at how difficult it was to put together, i was expecting it to take me five minutes but i say with all honesty that it took me about an hour.

It is one of those gifts that you can keep at your desk at work and work on it bit-by-bit every now and then. You had to follow the instructions as one simple mistake can mean you have to go back several steps!

I found it easier to set out each step at a time, this way you knew which pieces you had missed off the last step; since you didn't always have a brick to hold another you had to leave some off until you had competed the next section, thus going back and adding it after.

After all the hard world i now have an Pixel Pac-man on my desk :)
