This week I was sent over an awesome Eco Canvas Baseball Cap by the kind folks at the Brazilian Tarp Hat Company.

Amazonas Tarp hats and accessories are hand made in Brazil on the edge of the Amazonian rainforest, they are made using recycled Brazilian Truck Tarpaulins from open cargo trucks that run from Amazonas in the North west to the south of Brazil along thousands of miles of unmade red dust laden tracks with rain, sun & dust ageing the material in a way that no factory could ever replicate. The material is then washed and prepared ready to be made into "probably" the best original Hats and accessories around.

Every Tarp hat is a one off, no two are the same - which is great if you want to buy a unique present of even a nice gift for yourself. Every hat has its own unique character. They are made from various colours of materials,some may have patches,seams, repaired holes, or even Portuguese writing.

I picked the canvas baseball cap as i like to wear a cap when i am out in the garden working on renovating the garden. Having an all weather eco cap is perfect for the turbulent weather in the UK.

You will not find a better quality of cap on the high-street! One of the great things about the hats is that they can fit through the door, no signing for parcels and having to wait in for delivery!

Even my little-man wanted to get in on the action after he saw daddy rocking his new hat in the garden.
