To celebrate series three of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles airing at 9:30am every Saturday on
Nicktoons, i have got my hands on two bodacious figurines to check-out. My nephew loves the new
TMNT series so i knew that he would be super jealous of his uncle :)

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films and TV-series were prominent throughout my childhood. I actually watched the new TMNT film last year and loved it, proving that Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michaelangelo characters can transcend generations. Can you believe that the TV series ran from
1987–1996!
I was sent over two figures to take a look at, the first was the new series action figure;
Leonardo
For those of you unfamiliar with Leonardo, he's the leaders so he's one of the most sort-after figures. The new series figure comes with a bunch of radical features that my younger self would have been jealous of.

Firstly he comes with interchangeable weapons; he has his famous two Katana swords, two ninja death stars and two smaller daggers. These more weapons are hidden away in Leo's Shell, his swords fit nicely on his back.
The other notable feature is the figures 12 points of articulation and detailing. You has great mobility, making it easy for kids to adapt the figure to suit any situation without breaking it.

Leo has a great skin tone and detailing, he is easily recognisable and the product is well made from quality/durable material. The new TMNT figures are perfect for ones with little hands, this would make a great birthday or gift for those looking to get their first action figure.
Raphael
He is "The Muscle" of the team. He's a part of the classic collection, they've been made to reflect the look of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 80's TV show.

These original figures are authentically detailed to appeal to the true action figure collector. These perfect, old-school cartoon recreations will leave you screaming: Cowabunga Dude.

These original figures have 34 points of articulation, stands 6" tall and comes with a personalised man-hole cover base. His sais weapons fit in his hands perfectly due to the articulation.
Again the quality and look of the figures can't be knocked, he has a considerable amount of poses.
The
Nicktoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures and merchandise can be purchased via Amazon, Argos, Smyths, Tesco, Toys R Us, Sainsbury's and Next.
So if you love the TMNT check out the figures or tun on to Nicktoons every Saturday morning to watch the turtles fighting villains like Shredder, the Kraang and loads of super-powerful mutants.
