Kidz Play Harrogate - Family Days Out

Kidz Play is a superb soft play centre based a few minutes drive from centre of Harrogate.
Open 9.15 till 6 Mon to Fri, 10 till 6 Weekends they have fantastic facilities and fun inducing free parking, cafe with home cooked food, kidz classes free Wifi, indoor climbing frames, activities and much more.

One of the best things about the centre is that under 1's get in free. Parents don't have to pay either so you and your little ones can play in the under 2's soft play for nothing. How good is that!

They don't have time limits either so you can stay and play for as long as you wish. They have a wide range of pricing but for one off entries here are the fees:

  • 3′s and over – £5.50 (after 3pm Monday to Friday this price includes a free meal)
  • Under 3′s – £4.95
  • 1 year olds – £2.95

The also offer weekly and monthly passes for who visit regularly, click here to see the page.

There cafe offers food only made by them with no added salt, sugar or other nasties in their food. The meat comes from a local butcher, J E Audsleys, so is traceable, is sourced from Yorkshire and tastes great!

Their food is cooked with minimal use of oil. The chicken nuggets are cooked in the oven and the sausages are griddled. Their bread comes from Lancasters whose bread is free from preservatives. Our pièce de résistance is their cakes, everyone deserves a treat! They have a wide variety of foods on offer, from sandwiches to Jackets to Pizzas. The entry price after 3pm includes a free kids hot meal so there is no better time to visit Kidzplay in either Northallerton, Harrogate or Boroughbridge and enjoy the food they have on offer.

As I mentioned previously they have a long list of activities for kids for all ages, take a look:

  • Singamajigs: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Socatots: Every day apart from Wednesday and Saturday
  • Diddi Dance: Tuesdays and Friday
  • Melody Bear: Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Enjoy-a-ball: Tuesdays and a new class starting on a Wednesday morning
  • Tennis Tykes: Fridays
  • Ballpool Tennis Tots: on a Saturday morning
  •  Zumba with Gaynor: Tuesday and Thursday nights

Play Facilities
They have an extensive low level frame that is accessible to very young children with lots of tubes, swings, climbing and assault courses for the kids to play on, ball pools, wavy slides, a football court, a ride on area and a dedicated under 2′s area with its own ball pool.

In their under 2′s area they have a soft side so babies can slide down without banging their heads on the plastic sides of a slide. They have lots of seating for the adults and you are able to see your child from your seat so it means you can sit down while they play. They have two activity rooms that mean they hold lots of classes and do arts and crafts with the children. Funday Friday is a must, Matt their party entertainer holds a kids disco where they all do the moves to old favourites but also new with 1D being a particular favourite! Funday friday is on every Friday at 4pm.
