Runamocha - the fantastic family cafe bistro

It was my birthday last week - we rounded up the family and hit up one of the most exciting restaurants in Yorkshire to celebrate.

As an 18 strong army we booked into Runamocha, the Cafe Bistro and Cicchetti. The reason why we were all excited was because the they don't just cook fabulously fresh food but they also are children friendly... when i say child friendly i mean they have technology everywhere.  With tablet computers and interactive screens our family was entertained in-between meals with drawing games, sporting activities and an assortment of old school games.

The great thing about the staff and restaurant was that they let kids be kids, yes they can walk around, play talk and have fun whilst enjoy some exciting food. Parents get to relax as they know their kids are in a safe, friendly and warm environment.

The food was amazing... not just amazing as in it tasted nice it was presented well, it was local and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Wood-Pigeon to start, Sous Chicken for my main and Chocolate Fondant for desert. These were honestly the best 3 courses i have eaten in an age and guess what.... it was all under £20!!

Located in the heart of Harrogate the building stands out, the interior is smart and has a real quality character to it that is hard to ignore. I couldn't help but notice that everything they did was done to help children of all ages enjoy their experience - even in the toilets!

If you want quality food but worry about taking your kids to a upmarket restaurant this is the perfect destination! Just a note that their are stairs to get into the building but it wasn't a problem for us we had prams and a wheel chair and it was easy enough to lift all up without much effort.

I cannot recommend Runamocha enough to parents in Yorkshire - don't take my word for it get on Twitter and see what other have been saying!
