50+ experiences and places to visit my son before he's 16 (Work in progress)

Today i had the idea of writing down 50 things i want my son to experience before he turns the ripe old age of 16.

My childhood was great, i don't really have any regrets! On my way experienced some great things, visited many places and did things that shaped the man i am today. Knowing that i could influence a young mans mind has brought me to looking back and searching for those things that made me great.

Here is the list: of things i think my son needs to do before he's 16

  1. Learn to skateboard - make a skate video 
  2. Join a football team - understand trust, team work and leadership
  3. Try an Extreme sport: knowing and facing your fears is something every man needs to do to truly understand themselves and their boundaries 
  4. Blackpool Pleasure Beach
  5. Eureka  - in Halifax its a museum of madness - the national children museum 
  6. Visit Arms Cliff Crag
  7. Lego Land
  8. Horse Riding - as my father was a jockey by trade 
  9. Golf -
  10. Learn to play the guitar -
  11. Care for a pet -
  12. Master rowing  -on Knaresbough River
  13. Learn how to swim
  14. Go on a camping/caravan holiday
  15. Learn how to ski -
  16. Meet Chris & John (Visit the USA)
  17. Appreciate Vinyl Records 
  18. Learn how to ride a bike
  19. Build a tree house/den
  20. Visit Murcia with the family
  21. Raise money for a charity 
  22. Visit Chester Zoo
  23. Grow a sun flower or veg
  24. Learn to bake a cake
  25. Learn to cook for the family
  26. Join an organisation - scots
  27. Record a cover of his favorite song
  28. Sleep under the stars for one night
  29. Pull an all nighter
