SUPERHERO SUNDAY AT TGI FRIDAYS

So we recently got the chance to visit our local TGI Friday's restaurant on a very snowy weekend, as we decided to head-out to the Birstall Retail Park in Leeds for a quick shopping trip to both Ikea and HomeSense.

We have also loved visiting TGI Friday's and have always rated them highly when it comes to their customer service and family friendly approach. You might actually remember reading a previous post in which we visited to try out their Christmas Menu here.

Whenever we are visiting Birstall we like to call in and luckily for the boys they have a fantastic promotion running at the moment! They are offering free sundaes to any child that visits the restaurant dressed in superhero fancy dress. As you can imagine we didn't have to ask the boys twice about whether they wanted to dress up or not. Ted my three year old is obsessed with the Power Rangers so had to come as the Blue Ranger (his favourite ranger) and Charlie our one year old came as Buzz Lightyear!

The staff were great and shortly after being seating the boys were offered colouring pencils and paper. They happy accepted these and began to get to colour in and throw their pencils around, whilst we decided on what to order.

Whilst we waited for our meals the boys enjoyed blowing some bubbles, standard Toddler move!

Appetisers

To start the adults opted to try out the Bacon Loaded Potato Skins and the Jack Daniel's Sesame Chick Strips.

Main Meals

Our youngest went for the Omega 3 fish fingers with crispy fries and baked beans.

The three year old went for the Chicken Tenders: Golden breaded chicken mini fillets with potato waffles and baked beans.

Following on from my starter i chose to scoff-down the Friday's double glazed Jack Daniels burger with Monterey Jack cheese, candied bacon and Fridays mayo.

Mum went for the Jack Daniels chicken burger with bacon, cheese and chips.

We could not fault any of our meals, they were healthy portions at reasonable prices! After the main meals the boys got their hands on their free sundae, on which they got a chocolate flake to my son's delight.

TGI Friday's have loads more going on throughout the year and even this week, so follow them on Twitter to be kept upto date with their latest offers and activities:
