Oxelo B1 Scooter Product Review: Our First Thoughts
Ted has not yet learned to ride a bike or even ride a scooter, but as he is fast approaching two and armed with a brand new scooter i thought that now was the perfect time to teach him.On sale for £22.99 the Oxelo B1 Scooter is specifically designed to help teach young children to balance.
Delivered to my door, the scooter arrived in a quality branded Decathlon box. Inside the box the scooter was well protected by those little brilliant bags of air keeping the product super-safe in transit.
The scooter it's self was wrapped in a plastic covering and had a thin layer of protective-film actually on the scooter, protecting it from those little scratches that can happen in transit. The scooter requires minimal assembly and what little bits did need putting together took seconds to do and little understanding. The scooter comes with a green shell but one of the key selling points of the scooter is that you can buy the colour you want or buy replacement colours whenever necessary.
Another fantastic little feature was hidden away underneath the main section of the scooter, a rubber clip that can be used to hold the handle bars. Which means you can quickly take-off the handlebars within a click of a button and have the scooter collapsed into a manageable size, making it easy to carry around or store beneath a pushchair.

So why is this scooter better than the rest?
Well its unique, it has patented steering system, the B1's deck tilts precisely to provide the ideal balance for your child on each turn. The system helps with all aspects of balance which goes along way to helping develop motor skills.
The Oxelo scooter is designed to help children aged two and up to learn to ride with ease. Its wheelbase and wheel angle help build confidence with feeling stable when on the move.
The handlebars can be adjusted to various heights to suit your child's height.
It was love at first sight, my son went crazy with excitement when he saw the scooter for the first time. I am not lying when i tell you that he has actually said good night to his scooter before he goes to bed on a night.
As you can see from the photos he had the chance to play with the scooter briefly before he went to bed one night. He only spent half an hour getting to grips with the scooter and you can see how quickly he picked up the required movements and skills to ride with confidence without falling flat on his face, which he has never done, not even once!
As you can see from the video below he took to the scooter like a duck to water. He loved having the space and the freedom to scoot around, gaining more and more confidence after every push.
He only has little legs so he did get tired very quickly, which is great as i think it helped him sleep well on the night.
Oxelo Scooter Product Review Verdict, is it worth the money?
I would honestly recommend this scooter to any parent looking for a scooter this Christmas. If you have any questions about the scooter feel free to ask! If not i am not the only customer to rave about the Oxelo B1 Scooter, checkout these other product reviews:
