I only drink Yorkshire tea and more importantly i named my blog the Yorkshire Dad because i love gods own county and it's people. My most recent contribution to my Metro column was a post given 6 reasons to be proud you’re from Yorkshire, you can read it here.

My love for the county is apparent and when the folks over at I'm From Yorkshire, the well known Yorkshire merchandising store got in touch to see if i was interested in trying out some products for their store i jumped at the chance.
One of the first items i invested in was the North and East Riding of Yorkshire Map. On sale for £19.99 (A1) the map provides a snapshot of what the area used to look like "back in the day". The print was created by John Speed, he is recognised as England’s most famous ‘Stuart’ map maker, so when your invested in the map for yourself or a friend you know that the map is accurate and factually correct.
The map arrives in a tube as you would expect, it looks amazing and it feels well-made. Believe me when i say that this is going to be framed in the coming weeks and it will take pride of place in the hallway.
I'm From Yorkshire almost guarantee that the shirt will turn heads and spark conversation. They were right as when i first took it for a spin in the office i had several comments on the design and in support of the statement.
What is good to see is that the shirts are made from soft cotton and the A4 print across the chest is quality-made.
