Finding The Perfect Push Present

I can hardly believe that my son is now five weeks old and weighs a healthy 9.7oz.

When my first son was born i treated my partner to a new ring... some people refer to gifting a present after the birth of a baby as a push-present......
A push present (also known as a push gift, baby mama gift or baby bauble) is a present a father gives to the mother to mark the occasion of her giving birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room.
To keep the tradition alive i thought i would treat my partner to a surprise gift. I found a brilliant site called Hand on Heart Jewellery that sells a wide range of hand-print & fingerprint jewellery and personalised gifts for both men and women. All their products are all hand-crafted using loved ones true hand-prints, fingerprints, footprints or paw prints.

I liked the site as i wanted to buy a personalised gift that my partner could wear or keep with her everywhere she goes.

I found a beautiful sterling silver necklaces called the Time Stood Still Necklace for £40. The necklace features a clock which is frozen at a special time for eternity. They can either include a name and date on the reverse or and even a separate clock if you have 2 special times to remember.

I had both sides personalised with the times my boy's were born. It is also worth mentioning that you can get free delivery on this product, if you fancy waiting between 2-3 days for delivery.

The necklace is delivered in a nice and beautiful package with a ribbon on-it. The necklace was presented on a nice branded card and wrapped in lovely tissue paper so it was well secured and once all the wrappings were removed it look very ascetically pleasing. The quality of the necklace is good and the hand-crafted elements of the necklace were flawless, not a mark to be seen.

Unlike other online stores, HOH included a care guide that provides in detail key take-away when it comes wearing and cleaning the products. We also received a "designed by" card to let us know that the a real person hand-crafted the gift and it wasn't just some robot or factory churning out the jewellery - the card really did make the gift seem that extra bit special.

I know that it can be hard to get a picture of what you are actually buying in a blog post. To show you how fantastic and highly i rate the store i created a short video for your viewing pleasure:

Not only did i invest in the time stood still necklace i actually bought myself a little something. It is not very often i buy jewellery if in fact splash the cash on myself but this one gift caught my eye.

Whilst browsing their men's section i came across a brown leather charm bracelet that retails for £45. The fashionable brown leather-wrap bracelet features a sterling silver oval charm engraved on the front side and reverse.

You can add an additional charm and also have the charms personalised on each side with up to 24 characters. You can include names, dates or short messages.  I had my son's names added to the front and their D.O.B added to the back of the charms.

Size-wise the bracelet is approx 8.5" in length and is finished with stainless steel coloured clasp fittings. The sterling silver charm is approx 16mm x 7mm and attached by a sterling silver jump ring.

The bracelet felt well made, strong and durable, i can see myself wearing this on a regular basis as it has the perfect balance between being trendy and reserved.

Like before i wanted to show you what all the fuss it about, take a look the short video and let me know what you think....

I would recommend the to anyone looking for gifts for any occasion. Don't just take my word for it, 99% percent of their customers are happy according to Feefo the global customer review portal.

Please do visit their website and check-out their offers. They have some brilliant personalised new baby gifts!

It is also worth keeping up to date with the brand on social media as then often push-out special discounts:
