As a dad i now....

Since having a baby 6 months ago my life has changed for the better. The introduction of a baby into the family has most deferentially changed my approach to life and many of my preconceptions of people, places and programs.

I thought i would quickly make some observations on the little things that have changed in my life, enjoy:

- I can no longer watch TV programs like One Born Every Minute and Children in Need - watching children suffer or at risk is a no no for me.
- Everywhere i go notice the different baby brands parents are using.
- Everywhere i go i now noticed pregnant women and children.
- My go to conversation starter is my boy.
- I invest my time more wisely than previously.
- I think dads don't get the credit they often deserve.
- Governments have consistently screwed parents over.
- Not enough is done to help both parents get back into work.
- Childcare is too expensive.
- I hate sterilizing bottles.
- I have started to care about what i eat and what is in my food.
- I still hate the taste and smell of milk.
- I no longer know who is number one in the chart.
- Babies make you smile and laugh more than ever before.
- Bags, socks and boxes are more interesting to children than any toy.
- You get to know who your friends are quickly.
- I have started to care about education system.

Have you changed at since becoming a parent?
I have written about the sacrifices dads have to make on the Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/karl-young/fatherhood-and-its-sacrifices_b_5549063.html?utm_hp_ref=tw
