To cure my severe boredom I have downloaded some apps from the I-store onto my I-pad to help kill the time since I'm not currently at work.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12
For those of you that love golf this App is perfect for you - create by EA sports you can led Tiger Woods through career mode, complete challenges of play against others or the computer. The ideas is to work your way through the Tour earning more money to improve your abilities and equipment. The more you play the better you get and the more you earn.
It defiantly worth the £1-£3 price tag if you need to kill time on your sick bed.
Monopoly
A classic game now on the I-pad - a much faster paced game than what you will probably be use to. You can change the games settings to play the game in your own way, you play against 1-3 computer opponents or you can search the world wide web to find some like minded individuals to battle.
One game will likely take an hour, which is perfect for those with time to kill. The App will cost you £5 but is perfect to play in bed, on the move in the car or on the train or even on a family holiday.
Footy Chairman
Just picture a world where your own team sits nicely at the top of the premiership. Well Football Chairman starts you off in the lower leagues with a crappy team and tests you and dares you to make your team better. You strive to improve your player abilities through training, improving your grounds, staff and replacing managers.
The game is highly addictive, however you will run out of cash quickly. You can earn more cash through tweeting wins and promotion, however if you want to take your team to the top leagues then you might have to inject some cash into your team. The App is free so its worth a quick look to get a feel, it wont be for-everyone but for those who love football manager this could time hours or time.
I could go on but if you have any games you think could help dads get through the flue please do leave a comment.
