Weekend DIY

The weekend was over before i even knew it began! I worked miracles around the house on Saturday and Sunday and undertook a mass of DIY projects, take a look:

Under The Stairs
With the left over carpet from the stairs and living we decided that it would be best to give the space under stairs a bit of a makeover. With the odds and ends of leftover carpet i went about patching together a lawns worth of carpet to fill the space once occupied by cold, dirt and dark vinyl.

It was an easy project, completed in less than an hour. All i needed was a Stanley blade and heavy duty staple gun to power in staples deep into the wooden floor below. Here are a few off the cuff photos of the little project and the health and safety officer, Oscar the Dog.

Shed Light

I also found time to temporarily wire electricity into the shed so we can use the tumble dryer. Here's a photo of the wiring from the kitchen to the shed.

New Features in the Babies Room

I also added a new light purchased from Ikea, added photos from our past and an old chair we are planning on turning into a rocking chair once day.
