Masha and the Bear

Ted is mad about Masha and the Bear, for those of you with kids that are not yet familiar with M&TB it is a Russian animated television series created by Oleg Kuzovkov. It is loosely based in the oral childrens folk story of the same name. The show focuses on the adventures of a little girl named Masha and a fatherly pictured bear that always keeps her from disasters - i guess Ted can relate to Masha as he often get's in to disastrous situations and his daddy comes to help him out.

Well Netflix have Season Two available from the first of August. So on those rainy days why not introduce your little ones to the fun loving Masha:

What you should be watching right now...

Stranger Things

A thrilling Netflix-original drama staring award-winning actress Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, who lives in a small Indiana town in 1983, inspired by a time when tales of science fiction captivated audiences.

When Joyce's 12-year-old son, Will, goes missing, she launches a terrifying investigation into his disappearance with local authorities. As they search for answers, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl.

I have now finished watching the series and i can not give it enough credit. The acting, the story line, the costumes, the music and the reference to other popular 1980s shows come together to create on gripping, tense and enjoyable series.

Vox sum up the series nicely "In short, Stranger Things is sort of like if E.T. took a left turn into It, with a stop along the way to pick up a bit of the small-town terror of Halloween"

Orange is the New Black

We are currently watching Orange is the New Black and have committed to watching one episode every single night. We are currently coming towards the end of season two. It find that OITNB is one of the programs you can easily watch, you don't need to pay attention to every single minute.

My hatred for Piper is growing stronger, the story line throws up little bits of magic every single episode. I have find Nicki to be one of the most entertaining Characters!

I have also watched the first episodes of Making a Murder, which had me shouting at the TV... "how could this have happened". I would love to hear what everyone has been watching!
